Hello, my name is Eshwar Swaminathan, and I am a Graphic Designer and Motion Graphic Designer with a background in visual storytelling, animation, and technical design. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Design Studies (Graphic Design) with a minor in Radio, Film, and Television from San Jose State University, along with an Associate’s Degree in Animation from West Valley College. From an early age, I developed a strong passion for illustration, design, and animation, inspired by artists and designers such as Kunhiko Tanaka, Bruce Timm, Nikolas Troxler, Phil Bourassa, and Alex Trochut. Their work shaped my approach to composition, movement, and expressive visual systems, and continues to influence my creative process today.

Over the years, I have built a diverse body of work spanning motion graphics, branding, illustration, storyboarding, character design, and 3D visualization. I have been working with the Adobe Creative Suite since high school, developing a strong command of After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and InDesign, alongside 3D tools such as Blender and Maya. My creative philosophy centers on clarity, balance, and individuality—starting with strong foundational ideas and refining them through thoughtful detail, rhythm, and motion. I believe effective design should feel intentional and intuitive, combining visual polish with clear communication.

Since graduating from San Jose State University, I have gained 3–4 years of professional experience working across studios, startups, and freelance projects. I have contributed as a Motion Graphic Designer and Visual Designer at Island Pitch, a Visual Artist and Graphic Designer at NeuroLeap, and currently work as a UX/UI and Graphic Designer at Zentrais, collaborating closely with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to translate complex systems into clear, engaging visuals. My work often involves designing diagrams, presentations, motion assets, and branded content under tight deadlines while maintaining consistency and visual clarity. Across all roles, I bring a strong sense of structure, adaptability, and a deep commitment to crafting visuals that communicate effectively and elevate the story behind the work.
